What's New?

first gabriola farmer’s market of 2012
Friday, May 18, 2012

Well… It’s arrived at last!  We’ve been planning and prepping all winter.  Tomorrow morning you can all enjoy the fruits of our labours (as long as you come see us at the Farmer’s Market at the AGI Hall).  Or head over to Village Foods.  The market hours have been extended this year, from 10am-1pm, every Saturday until Thanksgiving weekend.  We can’t promise that we’ll have bread until 1pm, so it’s best to come as early as you’re able.  Lots of new produce vendors too this year, so it should be a great market season.  See you tomorrow!!

Tomorrow (Wed, May 16th) is the first Bowen Road Farmer’s Market of 2012!  Come join us in the field behind Beban Park Pool, from 4-6:30pm.  Be sure to come early to be able to get your favorite goodies.

We will be there with lots of bread, scones, and granola.  We’ll be making Pagnotta, Baguettes, Honey Sunflower, Rye, 100% Spelt Pecan Plum, Apricot Ginger, and Olive Rosemary bread.  For scones we’ll have 3 Berry, Raspberry Dark Chocolate, Citrus Cranberry White Chocolate, and Asiago Cheese & Onion.

See you there!

It’s that time of year again!

We’ll be at the opening Nanaimo Downtown Farmer’s Market tomorrow, Friday the 11th.  The market runs from 10am-2pm.  We’ll have assorted scones, Baguettes, Pagnotta, Honey Sunflower, 100% Spelt Pecan Plum, Apricot Ginger, and Olive Rosemary, and Granola.

Next Wednesday, May 16th (4-6:30pm) is the first Bowen Road Farmer’s Market of 2012, and we are looking forward to seeing you there too.  Hopefully the weather stays as nice as it’s supposed to be tomorrow.  Happy Market Season!

And don’t forget – if you can’t make it to the markets, you can always find our products in Nanaimo at Old City Organics, Markt Artisan Deli, Island Natural, and on Gabriola Island at Village Food Market, and The Old Crow Cafe.
