Thank you to all the people that came out to the Bowen Road Farmer’s market yesterday. You made a wet, gray, chilly day totally worth it.
Bowen Road Farmer’s Market today, 4:00 – 6:30, behind Beban Park. We hope to see you there!
Today is the first of our Nanaimo Downtown Farmer’s Markets. Come down to the Bastion between 10am and 2pm. See you there!
Now that it’s market season again, we’ll be baking every day but Monday. I’ll be delivering Pagnotta, Whole Wheat, Baguettes, 3 Berry scones, and Raspberry White Chocolate scones today.
The van is full to bursting with fresh bread & scones, and we are headed to Village Foods, and the 1st Gabriola Farmer’s Market of 2013!! See you there.
Our first market of the season is the Bowen Road Farmer’s Market, this Wednesday, May 15th, at Beban Park. We’ll be there from 4pm-6:30pm, with our usual assortment of bread, scones, and granola.
And of course we’ll be at the Gabriola Farmer’s Market every Saturday from now until Thanksgiving! It takes place at the Agi Hall, from 10am-1pm.
The Nanaimo Downtown Farmer’s Market, at the Bastion, starts on Friday, May 24th, from 10am-2pm. (I originally posted that this market starts on May 17th, but I was over zealous and mistaken).
Come on out and support your local producers! If you can’t make it to one of the markets, you can always stop by Village Food Market, Old City Organics, or Island Natural Market, to find our products. You can also sample our bread at Hilltop Bistro.
Need bread to help make the long weekend a great one? I’ll be at Village Foods with lots at about 9:15.
Due to an incident on the Gabriola ferry early this morning, the ferry has been out of service all day. Our usual Wednesday deliveries of bread, scones, and granola to our various outlets in Nanaimo will have to wait until tomorrow. Hopefully by morning, the ferry will be back to normal operations, and we can make our way to Old City Organics, Island Natural, and Hilltop Bistro. Sorry for any inconvenience.
For your enjoyment on Saturday, we’ll deliver a grand assortment of fresh bread and scones to Village Food Market. You can look forward to Baguettes, Pagnotta, Honey Sunflower, Rye, Olive & Rosemary, Apricot Ginger, 100% Spelt Pecan Plum, Granola, 3 Berry scones, Raspberry White Chocolate scones, and Asiago Cheese and Onion scones!
Have a great weekend!
