first gabriola farmer’s market of 2012

Well… It’s arrived at last!  We’ve been planning and prepping all winter.  Tomorrow morning you can all enjoy the fruits of our labours (as long as you come see us at the Farmer’s Market at the AGI Hall).  Or head over to Village Foods.  The market hours have been extended this year, from 10am-1pm, every Saturday until Thanksgiving weekend.  We can’t promise that we’ll have bread until 1pm, so it’s best to come as early as you’re able.  Lots of new produce vendors too this year, so it should be a great market season.  See you tomorrow!!

it must be the holiday season

Our esteemed Garibaldi cookie creator has offered to make a nearly endless supply of cookies this month.  To keep her busy, we’re offering Garibaldis direct to customers.  When you contact us, we’ll arrange a pick-up time to suit you.  If you’re on Gabriola, you’ll be able to stop by our bakery to get your cookies.  For those in Nanaimo, we’ll figure something out :)  Anyone farther than Nanaimo – Garibaldis keep very well, and would be fine if we mailed them too you.  Please use the email link on our website to place your orders.  Have a great holiday season!
